CLUBS AND ENRICHMENT

The Covenant Preparatory School offers a variety of after-school activities and co-curricular opportunities that appeal to our students’ personal interests while enabling them to develop talents, gain leadership skills, and build lifelong friendships.

Student Organizations & Clubs

Student organizations, clubs, and leadership positions ensure that all students have the opportunity to get involved at Covenant. Whether joining the Chess club, becoming a Student Ambassador, or competing in the Latin club, students identify their gifts and talents while socializing with like-minded friends.

Student Council

The purpose of the Covenant Student Council is to give students an opportunity to develop leadership by organizing and carrying out school activities and service projects. In addition to planning events that contribute to school spirit and the community, the student council is the voice of the student body. They help share student ideas, interests, and concerns with the school-wide community.

Student Ambassadors

This program is designed to integrate student leaders into the admissions function of our school. Ambassadors will be called on to participate in an official capacity at special events throughout the school year such as open houses, new student events, campus tours, and other outreach programs.

National Honor Society

The National Honor Society is the nation’s premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to honor students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. Chapter membership not only recognizes students for their accomplishments but challenges them to develop further through active involvement in school activities and community service. Membership is both an honor and a responsibility. NHS members must maintain a high GPA in their coursework while also committing to serving in their community through required volunteer hours.

Clubs

Covenant students have the opportunity to participate in a number of different clubs. To encourage leaders within our community, students are able to start new clubs and bring new experiences to the school. The following clubs are available to students:

Ukulele Club
International Club
High School Bible study
High Schoo Math Club

Chaos Corner
Scrapbooking
Chess Club
Board Game Club
