Faith-Filled (Romans 12:1-2, Proverbs 3:5-6)
The faculty is committed to upholding Christian values, biblical principles, and the Covenant mission of developing students of strong mind, body, and spirit. Faculty possess a deep Christian worldview that can be organically woven through lessons or class routines.
Passionate Content Experts (Colossians 3:23, Proverbs 1:7)
Faculty are content experts with appropriate certifications in their fields and possess strong classroom management and communication skills. They also have a true passion for their subjects and relish the daily “aha” moments. Faculty are so passionate about their subject that it instills a love for learning in their students.
Leads By Example (Titus 2:7, Galatians 5:22-23, Matthew 5:16)
Faculty exhibit professionalism in their interactions with parents, students, and other staff members. Faculty adheres to professional behaviors such as punctuality, proactive communication, attention to duties, and interactions with co-workers. Faculty are patient, caring, and positive with their students.
Disciple Students (Proverbs 22:6, Colossians 1:28-29, Matthew 28:16-20)
Faculty must do more than impart knowledge and prepare students for collegiate success. They must answer God’s call to develop and mentor the next generation of leaders to impact our world for Christ. This includes establishing relationships and building trust with students in order to build the Covenant culture.
Supportive of Covenant (1 Peter 4:8-11, Philippians 2:3-4)
Faculty are positive and seek the advancement of Covenant by promoting the school in their communities. The faculty is flexible and willing to help when needed, suggesting and implementing ideas to strengthen the Covenant community.
Pursues Excellence (1 Corinthians 10:31, Philippians 4:8)
Everything students pursue from academics to athletics to the arts should be done with excellence and to the glory of God. The Faculty recognizes the potential of each student and invests all they have into molding them into great thinkers, communicators, and citizens.
