PRE-Kindergarten
Preparing for Kindergarten
We encourage our student’s natural curiosity and imagination as they explore and discover the world around them. Our youngest knights are learning and growing in a caring and nurturing environment that instills a love for learning. The curriculum is designed to foster our little ones social, emotional, intellectual, spiritual and physical development as they begin their exciting and fun-filled Covenant journey.
Through our program, our youngest knights develop qualities, such as creativity, trust, confidence, curiosity, independence, and responsibility, through hands-on play, conversations, singing, and movement. As our little ones grow throughout the year, they achieve the key skills necessary to be successful in Kindergarten.

A Day in the Life of a Covenant PK4 Student
Curious about what a day in pre-kindergarten looks like? Below are sample subjects that will give you an idea of how our PK4 learners will spend their day.
Daily instruction, introduction to the Bible, Bible stories related to God’s law, and weekly chapel guide students spiritually.
Early reading skills include letter and sound recognition, rhyming and tracking, and handwriting is practiced daily.
We practice self-reliance, fine and gross motor skills, managing emotions, and following rules.
Using manipulatives for number recognition, basic patterns, and sequencing.
We explore the fundamental of science to spark early interest.
Movement is critical for little learners as they enjoy running, swinging, climbing, and coordinated games.
Establishing an early love for reading is important for academic success. PK4 students love choosing books and listening to beloved stories.
Painting, signing, drawing, and dancing foster creativity and imagination.
Learning Through Play
Our little Knights are introduced to everything from academic fundamentals to navigating social relationships. We give prekindergartners instruction time alongside playtime, ensuring they’re learning by doing, all while having fun! Group activities allow for social interaction and skill building, such as taking turns, sharing, sitting still, and teamwork.
Supportive and Nurturing Environment
Our PK4 students feel seen, heard, and loved as their teachers model Christian values through kindness, and respect. In addition, your child’s safety is also our priority. We have put thoughtful measures in place to keep our campus secure, such as CCTV monitoring, a full-time security guard, locked doors and gates.
